Rendr - JobTread Integration

Rendr is built around a clear objective: helping renovation professionals save time and reduce friction at the very beginning of a project.

Instead of manually measuring spaces, documenting dimensions, and recalculating later, Rendr allows users to scan rooms through its mobile app and generate structured project data in minutes. The focus is speed, accuracy, and removing unnecessary back-and-forth during the first step of the renovation process.

Rendr - JobTread Integration
Rendr integrated directly into the platform interface enabling real-time plan analysis without leaving the workflow.

Capturing measurements efficiently, however, is only part of the workflow.

Once the space is measured, that data needs to become an estimate, a budget, and eventually a working job inside a construction management platform and that’s where tools like JobTread come in.

JobTread is one of several estimating and project management systems used in the construction industry to structure pricing, manage budgets, and run operations. It represents the business layer that follows field capture.

Without integration, some of the time saved in Rendr is lost when measurements have to be manually recreated inside the estimating software.

The opportunity was to extend Rendr’s promise of efficiency beyond the field and into the estimating stage itself.

The integration allows structured project data captured in Rendr to flow directly into JobTread, eliminating the need to rebuild project information from scratch.

For Rendr, this reinforces its role within a broader estimating ecosystem and highlights one of its strengths: integrating with complementary tools rather than operating in isolation.

For JobTread users, it introduces a structured measurement layer that connects naturally to their existing workflow.

This integration was completed in March 2024, following earlier work with Rendr on the design and development of their web platform and subscription infrastructure, including Stripe-powered billing and seat-based plan management, covered in a separate case study.
