When the Print Time team came to us, their business was already running — but operations relied on a patchwork of spreadsheets, email threads, and disconnected tools. Quoting, invoicing, production scheduling, and delivery tracking all lived in different places, making it difficult to maintain visibility across the business and slowing down every step of the process.

Together with the client, Plum designed and built a unified platform that connects the front office and the production floor within a single system. The goal was straightforward: a job should move from quote to approval to production to delivery without falling through the cracks between tools.

The platform supports the complete print job workflow. Sales teams create detailed quotes with line items, which can be approved by customers through a public approval view — no login required. Once approved, jobs flow into work orders, tasks, due dates, and calendar events that production teams use to organize their day. The system covers multiple print-related departments, including screen printing, embroidery, signs, graphics, promotional items, and direct garment printing.

On the business side, the platform manages customer records, contacts, supplier information, payment tracking, tax handling, and accounts receivable reporting. Managers and admins get a clear picture of where every job stands, what payments are outstanding, and how production is tracking against deadlines.

The system was built with role-based permissions from the ground up, supporting distinct access levels for sales staff, production teams, managers, and administrators. Plum has maintained and evolved the platform continuously for over 10 years, growing it alongside the client's business needs — a long-term partnership that reflects our commitment to the products we build.
